About CEU
Consumer Electronics University (CEU) was established in 2005 by two industry veterans who were passionate about the real value that high performance sales, service and management teams bring to the Home Technology marketplace. Despite a business climate that often seems to be a race to the bottom; we saw proof time after time that improved execution, better skills, and a shared vision results in increased profits and improved customer retention.
Since our start 8 years ago, CEU has partnered with dozens of leading retailers, integrators, and manufacturers to create and execute innovative training programs that impact real change in performance, and in our partners bottom line. Our extensive experience in creating and executing classroom, video, e-learning, and in-store training programs provides the consumer electronics industry with uniquely innovative solutions that are customized to each of our partner’s needs and budgets.

What we do:
Our focus at CEU is bottom line performance. Improved performance is never the result of training, it is the result of learning. That's why CEU dumped traditional "pour and snore" presentations and replaced them with active participant-centered accelerated learning activities. Activity based accelerated learning is engaging, challenging, fun, and most important, it dramatically improves results. Companies that have replaced traditional training with accelerated learning find training time reduced by 20-30% and retention increased by up to 4 times.
Accelerated learning is based on the simple principle that adults learn through creation, problem solving and challenging interaction not passive absorption. CEU training programs utilize games, role plays and group discovery to be certain that every participant's brain is present during training along with their bodies
Another core accelerated learning principle is that learning is not an event, it is a process. We don't learn unless we are open to accept new skills and concepts. We don't retain new knowledge or put it to work unless we have the opportunity to practice our new skills, with feedback. That's why CEU programs start with pre-work that prepare participants to learn before training begins; and why programs end with follow up on the job exercises, practice, and debriefing feedback.
